"It’s lightweight but feels effectively stiff. The head fitting part is not stiff but is lightweight fits snuggly without feeling too tight. Well made, wide enough to shade all my face and it has an adjustable chin strap to resist wind gusts. Satisfied."

"I bought this for international travel and wanted a hat which would good with nice travel clothes, and provide protection to my face from UV. It also had to pack flat in my suitcase. This hat did all I wanted. It's light and comfortable, and the removable drawstring cord kept it secure in breezy conditions on a river cruise. Although it packs flat, you need to take a little care with where you position it in your suitcase to protect the rim from being deformed. I think it would be good for use in the garden as well, but I may decide to look after it a bit as a 'dress' item and get something cheaper to sacrifice to my rough and tumble gardening activities!"
