"I’m a retired lady and enjoy gardening. I live in Louisiana where the sun is intense. This hat does a great job of keeping the sun off my face. "I bought this hat to use in the garden. I have rosacea that is worse in the heat so I was looking for something that’s protective and reasonably cool. This hat fits well, it’s lightweight and the neck shade makes more of a difference than I expected. The downward tilt of the brim is helpful for shading my eyes as well as less likely to get caught in foliage, unlike the hardware store hat I’ve been using. I also found the adjustable strap was helpful for keeping it in place in the wind. I’m glad I bought it."
