SOLBARI is an Australian sun protective social enterprise. We produce the highest quality, stylish sun protective clothing, swimwear and hats.
Our mission is to protect your skin and provide you with an effective sun (SOL) barrier (BARI) to prevent skin cancer, melanoma, skin damage and premature skin ageing caused by the sun's harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.
Did you know that a t-shirt might only have a UPF of 5, leaving the skin exposed to serious skin damage? They provide very little, if any, sun protection and let through large amounts of UV rays.
SOLBARI products are tested and rated UPF50+ in Australia. This is the highest sun protective rating for fabrics. All our products block more than 98% of UVA and UVB rays.
Who is rating our products?
SOLBARI products are recommended by major Australian skin cancer clinics, medical experts and dermatologists.
SOLBARI products are tested and rated UPF50+ by the relevant Australian Government Agency, ARPANSA.
Our products have received the seal of approval from Melanoma International in the United States of America.
Our sun hats conform to the Cancer Council brim length recommendations.
Our products are also tested and rated by RMIT Institute of Textiles in Melbourne.
Who should wear our sun protective clothing?
Our designs are suited to individuals who want to maintain healthy and youthful skin, prevent further skin damage and those avoiding sun exposure for medical reasons.
We have stylish products for men and women.
SOLBARI products play a key preventative role so that you can enjoy your day in the outdoors safe from the sun.
Why SOLBARI is different from other clothing companies?
We are confident that SOLBARI products will become an essential part of your wardrobe.
