Very Happy with the sleeves

I bought these for my son who is a tennis coach. He said he loves the quality and feel of them, they fit well he says giving him more freedom in the sun as he doesn't have to apply sun cream any more on the arms and as a result he will be buying another pair very soon.

Light and cool!!

Love!! I have 3 of these shirts. I wore them at Disney World and was very comfortable in the Florida heat and humidity. I would love more colors to add! Please don't stop making this shirt, it is my favorite that I have purchased from you."I'm 5'3.5" and weigh 152 lbs. I wear a size large since I don't have a slim body.

UPF 50+ Sun Hats for Men & Women

The right sun hat does more than complete an outfit. It helps protect some of the most UV-exposed areas of the body, including the face, ears, scalp, and neck. Solbari's collection of UPF 50+ sun hats includes wide-brim, ultra-wide-brim, bucket, neck-protection, and packable travel styles for both men and women, making it easy to find the right level of coverage for everything from everyday wear and travel to outdoor activities and high-UV environments. Solbari sun hats help protect covered skin from sun exposure by blocking UV rays through the fabric. It is recommended to wear SPF sunscreen on exposed areas, not covered by the UPF 50+ fabric, due to UV reflection from surfaces and skin exposed to the sun.

Every fabric in the hat collection is independently tested and certified UPF 50+, blocking at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. From lightweight travel hats and versatile bucket hats to broad-brim styles with extra shade, Solbari offers sun hats with certified sun protection and practical everyday wearability. Solbari recommends people wear wide-brim and broad-brim hats as well as bucket hats as these usually offer more coverage rather than caps.

Many styles feature practical details such as adjustable sizing, moisture-wicking sweatbands, packable construction, chin straps, and neck coverage options for more exposed conditions. Solbari is also recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation, providing additional confidence in the performance of every hat.

Certified UPF 50+ Protection, Built Into Every Hat

A sun hat with a UPF 50+ rating offers the highest available fabric sun protection standard, blocking at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Unlike many regular hats, every Solbari hat is independently tested and certified to help provide sun protection for your face, ears, scalp, and neck during outdoor activities.

The collection includes ultra-wide-brim styles for excellent shade, packable travel hats that fit easily in luggage, and neck-protection hats designed for high-UV environments and extended outdoor use. A sun hat with UV protection can be worn across a wide range of outdoor activities, from gardening and hiking to travel and beach days.

Solbari FAQs

A sun hat with a UPF 50+ rating means that the fabric blocks at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. UPF 50+ is the highest fabric sun protection rating available worldwide and helps reduce UV exposure to the skin covered by the hat's fabric. The Solbari hats offer protection for covered skin from UV sun exposure and are a practical way to get shade when playing golf, walking, hiking, gardening and enjoying the great outdoors.

Our sun hats are perfect for travel! They can be folded to fit in your handbag or backpack, or packed flat in your suitcase.

Yes. Many regular hats, particularly loosely woven straw styles, may offer as little as UPF 5, meaning that sun rays penetrate the fabric and don’t offer reliable sun protection. Solbari's fabrics for sun hats, bucket hats, and wide-brim sun hats are independently tested and UPF 50+ certified, blocking at least 98% of UVA and UVB rays.

We recommend applying sunscreen to any exposed areas, like your face, neck, and ears, as UV rays can reflect off surrounding surfaces.

Solbari sun hats are crafted with certified UPF 50+ fabric, the highest sun protective rating globally, blocking at least 98% of harmful UVA and UVB rays. Whether you're wearing a wide brim sun hat, bucket hat, every Solbari design is made to offer full coverage for your face, neck, and shoulders. Designed in Melbourne and tested to Australian standards, our comfortable and breathable sun hats help protect your skin on high UV days, offering peace of mind during outdoor adventures.

It is recommended to apply sunscreen to your face and neck even when wearing a sun hat, as UV rays can reflect off surfaces like sand, water, and pavement.

Brim length and head circumference vary by style, so please refer to the size guides and product descriptions on each product page. All brim lengths meet Australian Cancer Council standards, ensuring optimal sun protection.

Yes. Solbari offers UPF 50+ sun hats in a wide range of men's and women's styles, including wide-brim, bucket, travel, and neck-protection designs. Explore women's sun hats or browse men's sun hats.
