Hi, my name is Eve and I'm a mother to an 8 year old son.
I developed a bad sun reaction from the hot summer days last year walking across the large school oval during school pick up time. I developed a burning rash over the back of my forearms that lasted the whole weekend and kept me awake at night. I went online and found Solbari and immediately ordered 4 items, 2 for myself, 1 top for my mum and 1 top for my dad. All items have been a hit! I am so relaxed now on hot days not having to worry about getting sun burnt.
I went to the Grand Prix nicely protected from the sun wearing my Luxe Hooded Full Zip top from the Sensitive collection. I wore it the whole day and did not feel uncomfortable at all in the heat of the day.
I also love my Sun Shawl, also from the Sensitive collection. I keep it in the car and it has been so useful to wrap around my arms for sun protection when driving in the car. It's also great when I'm wearing a dress to wrap around and give my arms protection when the hooded top is too casual to wear with a dress.
My mum also loves her Explorer shirt and wears it all the time to protect her arms from the sun.
But the biggest proof of success came from my dad who is extremely fussy and can't stand wearing hot clothes on his sensitive ageing skin. He is out a lot in the sun doing gardening with little sun protection and has sun spots on his arms. I bought him the Long Sleeve Polo shirt and he not only wore it (a challenge in itself) but said it was quite good! And it actually looks really good on him!
I definitely place a huge importance on covering up now in the sun and not just relying on sunscreen to do the job.
I would be telling my 16 year old self to wear Solbari clothes so I can be protected from the sun yet stay cool at the same time. So glad I have Solbari clothes now to protect me from the sun. Thanks Solbari!

Your skin is your largest organ and has a long memory. Sun exposure and ultraviolet (UV) damage is cumulative throughout your life. Research shows that sun damage contributes to more than 90% of wrinkles, brown spots, premature skin ageing as well as precancerous and cancerous skin lesions.
It is very difficult to the untrained eye to identify melanomas and skin cancers because they can come in many different shapes and sizes.
As Associate Professor Rosemary Nixon from the Skin & Cancer Foundation Inc. says, "the earlier a skin cancer is identified and treated, the better the chance of avoiding surgery, or in the case of a serious melanoma or skin cancer, potential disfigurement or even death."
