"This is an awesome deterrent for sun rays and from frying oneself while getting around during these hot, sunny days. I’m an avid walker and am not always able to walk without the sun beating down. "I was looking for a sun umbrella I could take with me on trips and this fit the bill nicely. The shadow it generates is solid and it's noticeably cooler underneath it than a regular rain umbrella. I got the larger size and it's a little flimsy. The outermost section of the umbrella tends to flip even in what I would consider a slightly stronger breeze. I don't have another sun umbrella that folds so I'd still use it on trips, but I'd probably use my non folding sun umbrella while home. I ended up getting the strawberry pattern and it was cute. The umbrella sleeve has matching strawberry piping. I'd have gone for the lemon pattern if it wasn't so faded looking."
"This is a well built, solid but heavy parasol that has a plastic cover plus a zipped carrying case too. Works well but has a strong plastic smell which I hope will fade over time. It's has a push button to open which operates smoothly. However. it's very stiff and difficult to close the parasol, and I have to place the parasol on a hard surface and lean on it to push it down to close it! Not ideal, especially if you're thinking of gifting it for the elderly or disabled."

This Solbari umbrella is perfect and worth every penny - large diameter, quick pop-up release, very sturdy in the wind, and that beautiful cloud lining, so you don't feel under anything too dark. "Its a sun umbrella. To block the (can be dangerous) sun. Spectacular when needed. According to my research this is the only brand that provides independent testing support for the UPF 50+ rating. Every other brand that I was able to find, makes claims without support. Therefore, for me, this differentiates the brand SOLBARI sufficiently that, if I want or need what it does, and I do, there is no acceptable alternative."
