The Expedition Sun Hat offers UPF 50+ protection, shielding your face, ears, and neck. With a 2.75" (7 cm) front brim and 4" (10 cm) back brim, it provides enhanced coverage. Mesh ventilation, breathable lightweight fabric, and a sweatband make it one of our most comfortable hats for long walks and expeditions.

Size and fit

Head circumference measurement

Small / Medium: 21.5-23" / 55-58.5 cm
Large / XLarge: 23.25-24" / 59-61 cm

To measure your hat size, wrap a string or ribbon around your head, just above your eyebrows and ears. Measure the string length with a ruler and compare it to the size chart, and that’s your size! Once you receive your hat, adjust the back toggle for a custom fit.

"I have had lots of skin cancer and this hat has great coverage without swallowing up my face like some hats do. "I’m always looking for the perfect sun hat. I was loyal to a well known hat company that starts with a T and when I went to replace the hat with the exact same model it was totally different—the proportions were terrible.
