"It’s hard to find a natural fiber hat and I have been looking for awhile. While this is pricier than what we are used to for fast fashion, you are paying for quality workmanship and fabric composition. I wore it to the zoo today and it kept the sun off my entire face AND NECK because the width is great. Perfect. It didn’t make my head hot either which is why I got the natural color. The brim is adjustable so I could roll it up a bit when I needed to. I’m very picky and I like this hat a lot."

Reapplying sunscreeen is so important, but I feel so much better now that she has another layer of protection that is light weight, breathable, and protective! "Love the material - cotton/linen which does not "heat up" the same way that polyester can. Definitely covers and shades your entire face and neck. As a melanoma survivor - on the face - I do not go anywhere during UV hours of the day without this hat or the Solbari UV blocking umbrella. The pale green with beige interior color combination is perfect and goes with all colors. Style is enhanced by fact that a wire is in the rim and makes it bendable, so you can quickly bend the front up for a better view when you need it, or when inside (don't have to take the hat off). "I love this hat so much! I’m big on sun protection have tried a variety of hats. This one is big head + pale girl approved! I got the baby blue color that is so perfect, goes w any outfit. I felt very protected in the Puerto Rican sun, and it folded up nicely for travel. I like that you can put your ponytail through the back, and you can choose if you want the string or not (great for windy days, but nice to have the option to remove it to be more fashionable). The materials are quality, clean, no polyester. This hat is well worth the money and I highly recommend!"
"I have this hat in 3 colors! I prefer the black best, natural second, and my newest (desert sand) is lovely but my least favorite color. Doesn’t quite match the photos on the website. But these hats are unparalleled. I am always fully shaded and I wear them whether I’m walking or in a chic outfit on vacation. Sun protection is always in! I also loved that it shaded my toddler when I wore him in the carrier, even though he also wore his own hat. More shade is better!"
"The "Ultra Wide" aspect of this hat is no joke! The brim protects half my shoulders and the back of my neck, too! My head is a little small, even of the small, but this hat fits no problem with a super easy adjustable strap at the bottom. The material is soft and comfortable and doesn't make your scalp feel hot, even in the sun. I wear this hat even when I'm drawing, which compliments my setup of sun screen, sunglasses, and my gaitor for extra UPF protection benefits. I am used to wearing hats when I go out during the day to help shield my eyes, so I figured it was time to upgrade to a hat that would protect me and I definitely made the right choice! "I have gone through a lot of sunhats in the quest for the perfect one. Previous complaints I've had are: not a wide enough brim to shade my entire face and neck, headband elastic doesn't hold tight enough, not breathable enough, wind blows the brim around too easily. This sunhat basically fixed every problem I've encountered with other hats. The adjustable elastic in the headband holds tight to my head, and on windy days the strap makes sure it stays. The extra wide brim stays in place thanks to the wire and is convenient to be able to adjust based on angle of the sun. The fabric is very light and breathable. I am extremely happy with this hat, please don't change it!"
