What is a B Corp?

Certified B Corporations (B Corps) are part of a leadership community acting globally to use business as a force for good and affect positive social and environmental change in the world. It’s a framework that helps businesses protect and, importantly, improve their positive impact over time.

There are more than 4,000 Certified B Corps in over 150 industries and 70 countries with 1 unifying goal – to redefine success in business and better balance the needs of people and the planet, with profit.

B Impact Areas

The certification goes beyond just a product or service level and measures a company’s entire social and environmental impact

The B Impact Assessment evaluates how a company’s operations and business model impact its whole ecosystem:

Solbari: empowering people to lead a sun-smart life

Our purpose sits at the core of our business model.

Our mission, which drives everything we do here, is to inspire people to lead a sun-smart life.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers, but also one of the most preventable.

Our vision is a world without skin cancer and to support those with skin health conditions.

We educate the public about skin health, invest in skin cancer detection and offer a wide range of world-leading UPF50+ clothing, sun hats, accessories and SPF50+ skincare.

Our impact has always been important to us

From day 1, the vision for Solbari was to have a positive impact, to empower others to lead sun-smart lives and to help create a world without skin cancer. As Solbari has grown, so too has our sense of responsibility to ourselves, our community, and our planet.

We’re proud to join a community of like-minded businesses, across all types of industries, who want to challenge the status quo and affect real positive social and environmental change.

The certification is a big milestone, however, there is no finish line when it comes to using business as a force for good. We are committed to the ongoing journey of continuous improvement that comes with our B Corp certification and pledge to hold ourselves accountable to you, our community, to keep redefining the standard for responsible business.”
