All Solbari fabrics are tested and rated UPF 50+ in Australia by the representative Australian government agency, ARPANSA, in accordance with the standard AS 4399:2020.

Most people don’t realize that not all fabrics protect the same from the sun. In fact, a regular, white cotton t-shirt may have a sun protective rating equivalent to wearing only SPF 5 sunscreen. This is why we created Solbari; to offer our customers an effective sun-protection solution that keeps their skin safe from the sun all day long. A UPF50+ rating is the highest achievable in the world and is equivalent to wearing SPF50+ sunscreen, without the need of reapplication. You can think of Solbari as SPF50+ for clothing!

Beautiful but HUGE

Beautifully done visor however the diameter of it is huge and does not fit. If the company weren’t so far I would return it.

Sun visor

Comfortable

I like it because it gives a bit bigger shade on the face than others, it comfortable to wear and easily adjustable.

Great Coverage - Beware Small Heads !

Happy with how it functions -- However “One Size” was way too big for me at the back Velcro Section. My head is 22 ins or 56 cms around resting on my forehead and I could not close the hat to grasp the Velcro. I choose to put my sewing skills to a test and repositioned the Velcro to extend much further up and this worked. I also put a Press Stud Fastener on the loose end and band to ensure that it did not come off in the big winds down by my beach. Was on the Expensive side but there are not many others at 50+ and soft material available. It stood up to the Big Winds at Yanchep Lagoon where I walk and also kept the sun away from the sides of my face - and nose and so happy with the shape. Cheers Susan in WA

It’s just an ok visor

The quality of the material is good but the visor itself is much too large. I can’t tighten it enough because I run out of Velcro space. It’s also too flat. It doesn’t curve at all.
